Some residents of Fairbury will briefly be without access to water Tuesday morning as the city executes some repairs.

The city of Fairbury announced Thursday morning that the city will be performing water line maintenance this coming Tuesday, which will shut off water to people residing on stretches of four streets for a few hours during the process.

The city says the affected areas will include:

7th Street from G Street to J Street

8th Street from G Street to I Street

H Street from 10th to 7th

I Street from 10th to 7th

The outage is expected to last from 9 AM to 1 PM this coming Tuesday, February 24.
